Our 1949 Alvis TA14 Carbodies Drophead Coupé has traversed the St Gotthard Pass (2106 metres) three times over the last twenty years. The first was on our trip to Italy in 1996. The second crossing was during the Swiss tour of 2005 when we headed to Lake Maggiore. The final was on our return from southern Italy, via Lake Maggiore, in September 2016. The first two were north to south and the last was heading north. Each time many photos were taken and some are presented below.
